Let me introduce a short series of blog posts on initiating this change and how to better cope with the three main meals of the day, starting with breakfast and ending with a few fun snacks.

With so many breakfast items off the menu when following a Paleo Lifestyle, it makes it difficult to stick with it.  No cereal and milk, no bagels and cream cheese, no yogurt and fruit, no, no, no.  It can get downright irritating, not to mention boring.  I understand what you’re going through.  Coming from someone who loves breakfast and all breakfast foods, it was difficult to switch to a Paleo Lifestyle and find ways to enjoy breakfast again.

Role Model

We are role models for our children and our children are role models for us.  Once we open the dialog between parents and children to not only teach, but also to listen and learn, we can create a whole new conversation that can change the world.

Wyatt and I were playing together in his room, and he was cooking our dinner with his toy stove.  I asked, “What are you making for dinner?”  He was busy putting a large pan in the oven and had a small pot on the stove, and he replied, “Chicken, asparagus and broccoli.”
